100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry

Automotive News' 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry is a special section and event started in 2000 to highlight powerful women in a traditionally male space.

Only occurring once every five years, the fourth iteration took on a special importance due to the ascension of General Motor's CEO Mary Barra as the first woman chief executive of a major automaker.

I was tasked with leading the digital packaging of the special section, an effort that included:

  • Designed and prototyped the 100 Leading Women microsite

  • Coordinated development of microsite with Crain technology services

  • Filmed and edited 28 video Q&A's for the honorees

  • Animated creative assets for sponsored video series

  • Created welcome video (above) for package and 4 highlight videos for the event
